Continuous integration is important so the progress, development innovation can continue without delays. Continuous integration follows an agile mindset which is always innovating and improving. Although sometimes failures such as the SpaceX seemingly disastrous explosions in early December, 2020 were treated as improvements as lots of data was gathered to improve future models.

Traditionally corporations used waterfall methodologies, where executives made decisions based on financial and other information. Nowadays agile delivery is made on what is needed to achieve business objectives in fast cycles known as iterations. Continuous integration falls under the agile way of thinking and is important which allows teams to receive results in the near future with short development times in approximately two to three weeks instead of the waterfall length which is approximately six to twelve months.

Many small iterations make a large project.
